Creative introduces the ZEN Mozaic EZ300 portable media player. It features 1.8-inch 160 x 128 resolution display, 4GB or 8GB internal capacity, FM radio tuner, JPEG file support, it allows 32 hours of audio playback (MP3 / WMA / WAV).

The ZEN Mozaic EZ300 is available in Black and Pink in US and UK for $59.99 (4GB), $79.99 (8GB).

Lenovo launched the MRT800, their latest portable media player first with touchscreen. It comes with a 4.3-inch 480 x 272 touchscreen display, a microSD expansion slot up to 4GB, FM tuner and voice recording function.

The MRT800 will support RMVB, AVI, ASF, MP4, and FLV for video and MP3, WMA, OGG, APE, FLAC, WAV for audio and JPEG, BMP images. No information on pricing and availability yet.

Its not official yet, but images of an Archos 2 showed up on the web implying Archos is going to release this portable media player. It comes with a 1.8-inch 128 x 160 display,a microSDHC card slot, FM radio, voice recorder and its capable of playing MP3, WMA, WAV, AVI and JPEG files and attery lasts for 12hrs of music playback or 4hrs video.

It measures 84 x 41 x 9 mm and weighs 50g, and will be available in black and white colour. The price for 8GB version on Amazon is $60, and 16GB version on Amazon.de costs $92.There is also Archos 4 but only information we know is it’ll feature a 4-inch screen and 16 to 32GB of flash memory.

Mintpass the Korean firm, is planning to bring their mintpad touchscreen device to the US. It has a 2.86-inch display, 1.3-megapixel camera, handwriting recognition, WiFi b/g and weights 90g.

It supports DiVX, XviD, MPEG-4 and WMV, has full internet access and blogging software. The mintpad is priced at $143.

iRiver introduces in Kora, two new portable multimedia device, the Dicple D31 and D35. Both have QWERTY keyboard, 4.3-inch LCD touchscreen display, T-DMB TV receiver, FM tuner, option of 4GB or 8GB internal memory, Adobe Flash Lite player and microSD card slot.

The player will support MP3, WMA, ASF, OGG music; WMV/OpenDivX, JPEG, GIF, BMP,PNG as well as MS Office and PDF files and include electronic dictionary. Main difference between them is that D35 comes with more dictionaries and offers Study Mode. The D31 is available in both white and Black.

Samsung has quietly unveiled a new digital media player, the YP-Q2. It has 2.4-inch (320 x 240) QVGA display, and its available in  8GB and 16GB capacities, has FM radio module and touch-sensitive buttons. Samsung YP-Q2 supports playback of MP3, WMA, OGG, FLAC, WMV, MPEG-4 and offering up to 50 hours of music playback time. No word on a price and availability yet.

Apple presents us a new third-generation iPod shuffle, the world’s smallest music player that is almost twice as small as the previous model. It is also the first player that speaks to you, VoiceOver function will tell you which song is playing. Archos presented the TV Snap-On, which alowes you to watch DVB-T digital TV, and record it in MPEG-2 TS format. Two tuners (not able to simultaneously record one channel while watching other) and antennas are to intensify the signal reception.

This ArchosLounge digital TV add-on should be available in Europe in the next couple weeks for $76 (€60).

Philips presents portable DVD player, the CP951/37 with an integrated iPod dock. iPod dock is compatible with the iPod Touch, iPod Nano and iPod Classic and it slides out when you need it. This 9 inch DCP951/37, has pretty crappy 640 x 220 resolution, but at least it supports majority of all standard video discs (DVD, DVD+R/+RW, DVD-R/-RW, SVCD, Video CD, CD, CD-R/CD-RW, MP3-CD, Picture CD).

This Philips DCP951/37 supports also DivX and MPEG4 videos from DVD, CD or SD/MMC memory cards. Also it has built in speakers, two 3.5mm stereo headphone jacks.
