Gigabyte’s T1028 TouchNote has been already announced at CeBIT 2009, and now Gigabyte officially reveal it on their website along with specifications page and manual.
The T1028 comes with 10.1-inch 1042 x 600 LED backlit display, and the 1366 x 768 “HD” display will also be available according to manual. Continue reading »

China Owl’s presented this iMpc A10, as the name implies it wants to be a “real computer” but specs prove that its just a UMPC. Its features 1.2GHz VIA C7 CPU, 5.6″ TFT touchscreen (800 x 480), 1GB of RAM, 16GB SSD with SD/MMC card slot, 2 megapixels webcam, 802.11b/g.
It runs on Windows xp, 4800mAh battery is good for up to 5 hours and its price is $438 (available on Alibaba.com). Continue reading »

Fujitsu revealed today more detailed specs for it’s new U810 and T2010 tablet PCs that were announced earlier this year. The big news is inclusion of a built in HSDPA modem which will cost you an extra $200.
The U810 is powered by Intel A110 processor (800MHz), and has a 5.6-inch touch-screen LCD, 40GB HDD, Bluetooth, SD card slots, Ethernet, a VGA out and battery autonomy for 5.5.hrs claimed by Fujitsu.
T2010 has Intel Core 2 Duo 7600 processor with ultra low voltage improving battery autonomy which lasts up to 10 hours, and 12.1-inch LED display. Both of the tablets have a choice of Vista or XP Tablet Edition. The base price for U810 is $999 and $1,499 for T2010. Continue reading »

HP launches its new HP Compaq 2710p Tablet-pc model, which weighs 1.68 kilograms, a thickness of only 28.2mm on February 28 and 12 inches screen. The HP Compaq 2710p comes equipped with an Intel Core 2 Duo ULV, 100 GB hard drive, from 4 GB DDR2 SDRAM, apart from Bluetooth 2.0, 802.11 a / b / g / draft-n, etc.. And it offers at least 5 hours and 15 minutes of battery life. Other features of this Tablet-pc are 2.1 MP camera, and HP 3D DriveGuard NightLite (an option to use the keyboard at night without having to see a light on the keys).

We have two products that are in fact one. This is the Airis Kira 1070, in Chile this is marketed under the name Packard Bell S18p model. The features are the same: Touchscreen 7 inches (800 x 480 pixels), low voltage processor AMD Geode LX800 (500 MHz), integrated graphics card, 16 MB (shared memory), 1 GB RAM and Wi-Fi connectivity and Bluetooth 2.0. It comes equipped with Windows XP as the operating system and both manufacturers indicate that their autonomy is 4 hours. Iis weight is 950 grams and the price is around $ 1,200.
