Nobody has ever said that the LCD panels must be rectangular, but Toshiba has done one step ahead and created circular LCD Panel. Lcd has a diameter of 62 mm, edge of 75 mm, 11 mm thickness and outer ring of 3 inches. Resolution is 240 x 240, more than 260,000 points of color and a contrast ratio of 600:1. Of course the idea is not to incorporate them in the audio-visual world, at least for the moment. The company plans to use both in vehicles and in mobile devices.
