Last week Edward has Snowden revealed that NSA has tapped into the fiber optic cables that carry the data between the servers of biggest American tech companies such as Google and Yahoo. Google’s chairman and former CEO Eric Schmidt yesterday told CNN that executives at Google are shocked and outraged by NSA data collection and they were unaware of the activities. Google said last week that the company has been concerned about the possibility of this kind of snooping and works to extend encryption of internal traffic.
