Epson announces the scanner V500 photo with new LED technology. LED technology ReadyScan (technology for low energy consumptionis) is used for the first time in a Epson scanners with LED as light source.

Using this new procedure the V500 should be immediately ready to use after switching it on and uses less energy, than scanners with conventional source of light. The provided programs offer many practical functions for simple Scan jobs just like for tasks of professional: So for example colorcorrect Scans can be produced by the integration of ICC profiles. The Epson V500 photo is to be offered still in September for the price by approximately 280 euro.
