Yesterday Apple held special event at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater in San Francisco and introduced it’s refreshed iPad (from now on iPad Air), iPad mini, MacBook Pro and Mac Pro desktop. New iPad Air will be rolled out to more countries (42 vs. 34, including China) than last year. Analysts were mostly surprised not because of the iPad Air but because of the OS update and the fact that apps are now free on the Mac side. The star of the show wasn’t iPad Air but updated iPad mini. Updated version of iPad mini has the same processor power, screen resolution and battery life as iPad Air but is easier to handle and it’s cheaper (ca. $100 cheaper).
