According to Financial Post, Apple hosted a party on 26th September for BlackBerry employees just 20km away from BlackBerry’s Waterloo home base. According to Reuters, Google has been accused by Brazilian antitrust watchdog Cade of unfairly using rivals’ content, discouraging their advertisers and favoring its own product listings. Aston Martin began with production of its small small car in 2011, but it will end this production at the end of the year. Company targeted annual sales of ca. 4,000 but they sold fewer than 150. The main reason for unsuccessful sale was probably $51,500 selling price that was double the price of competing cars in that segment such as Audi’s A1 and BMW’s Mini series. Continue reading »

Alcatel-Lucent wants to cut costs and save $1,4bn by 2015, that’s why they will cut 14% of its 72,000 workers. The company has already fired 5,000 workers this year (the news was announced in July). Continue reading »
