Tablets are protected by a durable silicon cover and feature 7.0-inch 800×480 touchscreen display, 1GHz Cortex-A8 processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB of internal storage, micro SD card slot (up to 32GB), dual cameras (0.3MP front and 2MP rear). It also features WiFi, Parental Control feature, Educational Content, micro-USB port, stereo mini jack, 2400 mAh lithium ion battery and it runs on Android 4.0 ICS OS. The pink and light blue tablets will be available for sale on October 20th and it will costs ca. $210.

Microsoft is accepting pre-orders for two latest models: the Surface 2 and Surface Pro 2. Both models are available from Microsoft’s online store (expected to ship around October 22nd). Price list is as following: Surface 2 32 GB for $450, Surface 2 64GB for $550, Surface 2 Pro 64GB for $900 and Surface 2 Pro 128GB for $1000. Momentarily the model Surface Pro 2 512GB is not available. Gigabyte’s T1028 TouchNote has been already announced at CeBIT 2009, and now Gigabyte officially reveal it on their website along with specifications page and manual.

China Owl’s presented this iMpc A10, as the name implies it wants to be a “real computer” but specs prove that its just a UMPC. Its features 1.2GHz VIA C7 CPU, 5.6″ TFT touchscreen (800 x 480), 1GB of RAM, 16GB SSD with SD/MMC card slot, 2 megapixels webcam, 802.11b/g.

Fujitsu revealed today more detailed specs for it’s new U810 and T2010 tablet PCs that were announced earlier this year. The big news is inclusion of a built in HSDPA modem which will cost you an extra $200.
The U810 is powered by Intel A110 processor (800MHz), and has a 5.6-inch touch-screen LCD, 40GB HDD, Bluetooth, SD card slots, Ethernet, a VGA out and battery autonomy for 5.5.hrs claimed by Fujitsu.
T2010 has Intel Core 2 Duo 7600 processor with ultra low voltage improving battery autonomy which lasts up to 10 hours, and 12.1-inch LED display. Both of the tablets have a choice of Vista or XP Tablet Edition. The base price for U810 is $999 and $1,499 for T2010. Continue reading »
