According to Yra Harris (Praxis Trading), who recently spoke with CNBC in an interview, GM wants to buy Tesla. This business deal would be great opportunity for both companies, because Tesla could have access to GM’s established retail and service networks, and GM would benefit from cutting-edge-plug-in technology.

GM has already admitted to creating a special task force to monitor Tesla.
