MSI have announced a new 17-inch AMD-based notebook, the GX733. Its powered by an AMD Turion X2 Ultra dual-core CPU, a AMD RX781+SB700 chipset and ATi Mobility Radeon HD4670 (512MB RAM). It has 17-inch WUXGA LCD display, 2GB of RAM ( 4GB max), up to 500GB hard-drive, optional Blu-ray drive, 2.0 megapixel webcam, 4-in-1 multicard reader, Ethernet, HDMI / VGA outputs.

There is choice of a six or nine-cell battery and they added their ECO Engine power management system to increase battery life. No word on pricing or availability as yet.
