NETGEAR has announced its new NAS system (Network Attached Storage) for enterprises. According to NETGEAR this NAS is powerful enough to serve 150 current 1080p video streams. ReadyNAS 716 features ReadyNAS OS 6.x, Xeon (Ivy Bridge) E3-1225v2 Intel quad-core CPU that runs at 3.2GHz, 16GB pf RAM (ECC memory), 2 Ethernet ports and connection via 10Gb Ethernet protocol. Unfortunately you can’t aggregate the bandwidth of both Ethernet ports). ReadyNAS 716 costs $3,000.
