You can play through multiple NBA seasons and save your progress to iCloud to pick up later on another device. The soundtrack for this app was picked by superstar LeBron James. On the 2013 Best Global Brands list published by Interbrand, Apple is a new No. 1. Apple has ended Coca-Cola’s 13-year run as the world’s most valuable brand on a highly regarded annual list and its brand is estimated to be worth $98,3 billion, a 28% increase over 2012, according to Interbrand. Interbrand, which consults with companies about their public image, compiles its list based on financial performance of the company, the role the brand plays in influencing consumers, and how secure the brand’s top products are in their field. Last year Apple became the most valuable public company in history, although its stocks have since dipped.

Delta Air Lines surprised industry observers by choosing Microsoft’s Surface 2 tablet for its pilots, so they can replace large and physical flight literature. Airline reportedly wants that currrent iPad Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) users to transition to a company-issued device. Its flight attendants already use ca. 19,000 Nokia Lumia 820 smartphones for demonstration of precautionary details for flights and to assist in seating. Delta is trying to make paperless cockpits in less than two years and this will resulted in thousands of pounds of flight weight saved, leading to thousands of gallons of fuel conserved. Apple has hired Nike’s top Fuel Band designer Ben Schaffer. He was a Nike’s Studio Director of the Innovation Kitchen and under his lead Nike was named the most innovative company in 2013 by Fast Company. Ben’s experience in working on the wearables with Nike will be critical, because Apple is developing its own wearable watch-like device. But it also seems possible that Apple could be working on wearables beyond those for the wrist. Apple is updating the iMac line with Intel’s latest processors, faster graphics and speedy 802.11 ac WiFi capabilities. The new iMac features 2.7GHz quad-core Intel i5 processor (in the baseline 21.5-inch model) paired with Iris Pro graphics. The high-end 21.5-inch iMac and 27-inch models both include 3.4GHz processor and NVIDIA GeForce 700 series graphics. There is also available upgrade to Core i7 chips and GeForce GTX 780M graphics in the 27-incher. New models can deliver speed up to 1.3 Gigabits per second if you’re connected to an 802.11 ac capable base station. The new iMac is already available with Mountain Lion and pricing starts at $1,300. Apple released update for Apple TV, v6.0. The main addition is support for iTunes Radio (also available on Mac, Windows and iOS devices) and the ability to listen to music purchased from the iTunes Store directly. Other changes include podcast sync and access to shared Photo Streams. Important addition is also the ability to AirPlay content from one person’s iTunes/iCloud account to a separate person’s Apple TV.
