Samsung announced new multimedia notebook, the 17.3-inch R720. Its powered by Intel Centrino 2 processor, ATI’s Mobility Radeon HD 4650 graphics has 17.3-inch (16:9 aspect ratio) LED display, stereo speakers with subwoofer and Windows Vista Home Premium. Samsung has announced a new netbook, the 10.1 inch N310. It features Intel Atom N270 (1.6Ghz) processor, 1GB of RAM, 160GB hard drive, Bluetooth, 1.3-megapixel camera, 802.11b/g/n WiFi and runs on Windows XP.

The N310 offers up to 5 hour battery life, weights 1.23kg and comes in black, red, and blue. The N310 will be available in the UK in May for $577. Continue reading »

Samsung has quietly unveiled a new digital media player, the YP-Q2. It has 2.4-inch (320 x 240) QVGA display, and its available in  8GB and 16GB capacities, has FM radio module and touch-sensitive buttons. Samsung YP-Q2 supports playback of MP3, WMA, OGG, FLAC, WMV, MPEG-4 and offering up to 50 hours of music playback time. No word on a price and availability yet. Continue reading »
