BMW will revealed new BMW X4 in Detrot at the 2014 NAIAS, the concept was showcased this year during the Shanghai Motor Show. This model will be a smaller X6 riding on the X3 platform. X4 will be available with 2.0-liter 4-cylinder TwinPower Turbo with 240 bhp (179 kW), 2.0-liter 4-cylinder diesel with 184 bhp (137 kW) and a TwinPower Turbo inline-six outputting 300 bhp (224 kW) and a maximum torque of 406 Nm (300 lb-ft).

Porsche will probably unveil its new model Macan in November at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show. This model will be a smaller alternative to the very successful Porsche Cayenne. The slightly different will be the engine lineup, as Porsche will focus on making the Macan efficient rather than powerful and fast. Macan will have a 4-cylinder engine with 220hp for the base, while Turbo version will get a twin-turbo 3.0-liter, V-6 rated at 370hp. Continue reading »

Lamborghini Cabrera was spotted at the Nürburgring and it appears to be taking proportions and themes from the Aventador – an unsurprisingly design path, and one super car buyers are likely to appreciate in droves. The model Cabrera will likely sport an updated version of the 5.2-liter V10 engine found in the current model, with output increased to ca. 600 hp, indicating a likely tag of LP 600-4 appended to its name. The most welcome change to the car’s mechanical configuration is likely to be the expected replacement of the archaic and clunky e-gear automated manual with a modern seven-speed dual clutch transmission. Cabrera will probably take its spot in the Lamborghini lineup late in 2014 as a 2015 model. Continue reading »
