UPOP is a Korean company that presented us this multimedia player (PMP) at least the company says it is, to mee it looks more like a UMPC. It has a wide touch screen of 4.8 inches and a resolution that reaches 800 x 400 pixels. And then there’s the comfortable QWERTY keyboard and a capacity ranging from 30 to 60GB, thanks to its expandable memory slot SD.
With the operating system Windows CE 5.0 Professional it achieves compatibility with a large number of audio formats (MP3, WMA, MP4, PCA, AC3, Ogg and WAV) and video (AVI, DivX, WMV, MPG, DAT and VOB ). It also has an WiFi connection, electronic dictionary and reader of texts. For now, its price is unknown.

 

Plezo, a Korean manufacturer of media players of all types, presents his latest invention, the avox NF-101. But its size is not what impresses us most, but the fact that it  incorporates a speaker of 500mW (0.5 w). The site of player is 52 x 33 x 12 mm, and it weighs only 27.5 grams and supports FM radio, voice recording and even handles the playback speed of audio. Without doubt, a breakthrough in miniaturization technology.

We know that China every day offers us a couple of surprises with new technological innovations and today we have this clock Chinavision that beside of showing us time has a mp4 player and an e -book reader. The watch has an OLED screen of 1.5-inch display where we can reproduce MP4, WMV and AVI. The resolution of the video is 160 x 128 pixels and clock has a USB 2.0 connection. It even has a microphone incorporated which will record audio in WAV format. Its available for 1GB for $46, 2GB for $53 and 4GB for $65.

Inngenio 6000 has decided to renew its mp4 playerbefore end of the year. For those who don’t remember, this multimedia player has a screen of 2.8 inches, FM radio and voice recorder. The new Inngenio 6000 Energy System has reduced casing, reaching now just 9 mm thicknes, which transforms it into a truly good multimedia player. However, it has become more sophisticated with the incorporation of the touch screen to avoid actions by using fingers. Now its a bit larger than usual, and somehow uncomfortable. Its price is $175.

If you are looking for a digital camcorder at a reduced price and features for personal use without losing much quality, this GreenHouse Gaudi GHV-DV30SDS may be the camera you are looking for. Its characteristics are 32 Mb of internal memory expandable via SD memory cards of up to 2Gb, which can record up to 148 minutes of video in AVI or ASF to 30fps and a resulution of 640 × 480 pixels.

It also has a CMOS sensor of 5 megapixels, and it can’t record video to a high quality and have very limited duration because of low memory, either the internal memory or the limitation of SD cards. But you have to take into account its price which is around $198. The truth is that its price is so attractive that you don’t really care abouth its caracteristics.

I think that the Samsung outdone it self with K5, team has brought together two fundamental requirements: an avant-garde design with a high-quality sound.

The K5 is characterized by loudspeakers embedded disappearing behind the unit when not being used, then glide easily to deploy your mini stereo system. Undoubtedly, it is an interesting design combined with its OLED screen touch-sensitive.

If you get bored of your collection of songs, you can switch to its built in FM radio. The sound is complemented by their ergonomic headsets that amplify sound and eliminates noise and its USB 2.0 interface, which allows for fast downloading of songs. It comes in versions 1, 2 and 4 GB and its autonomy is 30 hours using headphones and 6 hours in speaker mode.
