It has a 4.7-inch wide-aspect touchscreen display, Magellan’s new “One Touch” interface, highway lane assist, multi-destination routing, spoken street names, AAA TourBook and Roadside Assistance menu, plus SmartDetour and a microSD card slot. Lenovo launched the MRT800, their latest portable media player first with touchscreen. It comes with a 4.3-inch 480 x 272 touchscreen display, a microSD expansion slot up to 4GB, FM tuner and voice recording function.

The MRT800 will support RMVB, AVI, ASF, MP4, and FLV for video and MP3, WMA, OGG, APE, FLAC, WAV for audio and JPEG, BMP images. No information on pricing and availability yet. Continue reading »

Its not official yet, but images of an Archos 2 showed up on the web implying Archos is going to release this portable media player. It comes with a 1.8-inch 128 x 160 display,a microSDHC card slot, FM radio, voice recorder and its capable of playing MP3, WMA, WAV, AVI and JPEG files and attery lasts for 12hrs of music playback or 4hrs video.
