Nokia will introduce new models on October 22nd during Nokia World in Abu Dhabi. The Nokia Lumia 1520 (the first phablet for the Windows Phone) should see the light of day. The model Lumia 1520 will feature a 6 inch display with 1080 x 1920 resolution. They will probably unveil at the event the Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet code names »Sirius«. This would be the first Winds RT slate for Nokia. It will have a 10.1 inch screen and be powered by a 2.15GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. The phablet and tablet will probably launch in November. There are also four other Nokia devices expected to be unwrapped at the event. One is supposedly »pretty special« and it will be probably something similar to the Microsoft Touch and Type Cover made available for the Nokia Lumia 2520. Continue reading »

Lamborghini Cabrera was spotted at the Nürburgring and it appears to be taking proportions and themes from the Aventador – an unsurprisingly design path, and one super car buyers are likely to appreciate in droves. The model Cabrera will likely sport an updated version of the 5.2-liter V10 engine found in the current model, with output increased to ca. 600 hp, indicating a likely tag of LP 600-4 appended to its name. The most welcome change to the car’s mechanical configuration is likely to be the expected replacement of the archaic and clunky e-gear automated manual with a modern seven-speed dual clutch transmission. Cabrera will probably take its spot in the Lamborghini lineup late in 2014 as a 2015 model. Continue reading »

Porsche will debut in November at the Los Angeles Auto Show its two new models. First up is 911 Turbo Cabriolet, whose 3.8-liter twin-turbo flat-six develops 520 hp, driving the droptop to 60 mph in 3.3 seconds. The 911 Turbo S Cabriolet will have 560 hp to drop the benchmark acceleration run down to 3.1 seconds. That makes the new models 30 horses stronger and 0.2 seconds quickier than the respective models they replace. They will cost $160,700 and $193,900. And you will also have to pay extra $950 destination charge. Continue reading »
