Tranquil has its T7 and T2e Atom media PCs ready for shipping. The T7 is based on a fanless design (near silent) and its robust and customised to your requirements (can be mounted horizontally or vertically) with space for a 2.5-inch SATA drive.

But T2e is designed to be media rack, it can be fitted with a slot-loading DVD drive and place for 3.5″ SATA HDD 80GB. They both use Intel Atom CPU 230 running at 1.6GHz and have 512MB DDR2 RAM. Price for the T7 is $371 and for the T2e $554 US. Continue reading »

Fujitsu unveiled this morning the new all-in-one PC, F-A50. It features 16-inch display running at 1366 x 768 (16:9) and it’s powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo CPU T8100 (2.1GHz).

It has an integrated graphics card Intel GM965 (X3100 chipset), 2GB of RAM (max is 4GB), 250GB SATA hard drive, Wifi B/G, Bluetooth and PC card slot for expansion. This silent pc ( 30dB according to Fujitsu ) will cost around $1,300 and it goes on sale in Japan on May 17th. Continue reading »
