Valve has announced the Steam Controller, which will be used to control the Steam Machines. This controller has two clickable trackpads with resolution which approaches that of a desktop mouse and has been designed to work with all past, present and future Steam games. Valve Steam Controller has 16 buttons which game developers can configure according to their needs. It features a high resolution touch screen in the center. The entire screen is clickable, so it acts as one large button and it can be programmed by developers using the API to use it as a scrolling menu, radial dial and to provide secondary information like a map. Logically, the interesting thing of this sound system is ability to reproduce the music coming from your iPod and any other device of portable reproduction.

It includes Apple software iTunes multimedia, and it supports the connection of the digital cameras, downloading photos by means of a card reader, reproducer of music and video, and will have in addition a software to see the TV.
