That new X200 isn’t the only product presented by the Lenovo. It’s been followed by a lineup of new IdeaPad models Y530, Y430, Y730 and U330. The Y430 has 14.1-inch screen (WXGA) and comes with integrated graphics. Y530 has 15.4-inch screen(WXGA) and is Centrino 2 P7350 based and comes with NVIDIA NB9M GS 256MB graphics. Lenovo released the latest model of their X notebooks, with Intel’s recently released Centrino 2 inside. Core 2 Duo processor runs at 2.4GH  supporting up to 4GB of RAM and offers SSD (64GB) and 320GB of hard drive but there’s no disc drive. Continue reading »

At Computex 2008 the Toshiba presented Puma based Satellite A305 and it has already been benchmarked. There are quite a few netbooks being released and GeCube’s 10.2-inch (1,024 x 600 resolution panel) is one of them. It doesn’t look good for it with that 1.6GHz VIA C7-D processor, 80GB SATA hard drive, 512MB of DDR2 RAM ( additional slot to expand to 1024MB), WiFi, Ethernet and 3x USB 2.0 jacks. AVING was the first to spot mini-note, powered with the new Nano processor at its core. This TongFang Imini S1 Mini-Note has 10.2-inch screen, 512 MB RAM, 80 GB 2.5″ Hard Drive. With 6cell (4000mAh) battery it weights 1.2 kg and measure 249mm x 180mm x 32mm. Its nice to see 1.2 GHz Nano CPU in mini-note. Continue reading »
