Hi-Tech Desk with Integrated Laptop

Laptops Comments Off on Hi-Tech Desk with Integrated Laptop

Hi-Tech Desk

This concept desk looks like standard Ikea fare upon first glance, but a closer examination reveals a recessed middle that’s contoured for a custom Samsung laptop to dock into. Once locked in, the laptop keyboard sits flush with the rest of the desk, bringing new meaning to the term desktop PC. A novel idea, but I’d be more sold on the idea if it included connections to external accessories, like hard drives and speakers, when you docked the computer into the desk. Continue reading »

Mouse or storage device? Asus’ MS71 is both.

Equipment Comments Off on Mouse or storage device? Asus’ MS71 is both.

Asus’ MS71

Because technical details are not known yet all we can say that Asus MS71 is a wireless laser mouse and a USB thumb drive, yes in one device. How…..stupid. Its too small for mouse and too big for a USB thumb drive. But anyway, Cebit 2008 unveiled the Asus MS71, and sopposedly the base of this device opens and magic happens. Then you have two parts: wireless mouse and USB thumb drive on which you can store yet unknown amount of files. The mouse has a magnetic locking mechanism which attaches the transmitter for charging. How much will it cost and where will we be able to buy it, is not known yet. Continue reading »

The MPIO V10 Personal Media Player

Portable media player Comments Off on The MPIO V10 Personal Media Player

MPIO V10

The MPIO V10 Personal Media Player seems to be equipped with pretty much anything you have dreamed about and it looks incredibly with it’s metallic design. It has the 3″ 480×272 pixel touch screen, which is nice seeing there aren’t many players in that class at the moment. The codec support is very extensive and impressive, with support for AVI, WMV, ASF, MP4, DivX, DAT, VOB, TS, XviD, MPG / MPEG, MP3, WMA, AAC , OGG, PCM (WAV), JPEG, BMP, GIF, PNG, SMI, TXT. Along with the extensive codes support, it has a FM tuner, dictionary, and TV out. The bad thing is only 8GB of internal memory, but a SD slot helps a lot – especially if its SDHC with cards up to 16GB right now and 32GB in a few months. No pricing is known yet.
