Intel Corporation and Micron Technology Inc. unveiled a high speed NAND flash memory technology which can incredibly advance the access and transfer of data in devices that use silicon for storage. The new high speed NAND can:
– reach speed up to 200 megabytes per second (MB/s) for reading data
– 100 MB/s for writing data
Conventional NAND is limited to 40 MB/s for reading data and less than 20 MB/s for writing data just for comparison.
Where can you stick in this high speed NAND:
– hybrid hard drive
– digital video cameras and video on demand services
– USB 3.0 interface
– PC platform

Have you ever had dreams about mouse that you can knead in more comfortable shape? Well, here it is. Lite-On Moldable Mouse has guts made out of soft modeling clay encased in a nylon polyurethane fabric cover. SmartQ’s gone and updated T5 to the T5-II Deluxe Edition. Updated features: chip that supports TV-out,AV-in, RMVB codec, which supports 1024×576 video, FM radio, an external controller interface ( the external handle is higher) therefor u will be able to play a thousands of classic games (Nintendo, Super Nintendo, the arcade games).
The screen resolution remains at QVGA. Display: 3.0-inch (4:3) 16 million color LTPS TFT, 320 × 240 resolution, Capacity: 2G/4G, size: 112 × 58 × 13mm. Samsung launched three new cameras. First in the line is i80. I80 is a new 8.1 megapixel compact digital camera with a large 3.0” Intelligent LCD Screen and 3x optical zoom. Other important features of the i80 are PMP (Personal Multimedia Player) with integrated MP3 player, Samsung’s Intelligent Face Recognition Technology which detects the subject’s face, Samsung Digital Image Stabilization system and ISO3200 high sensitivity support so images remain crisp and detailed even without a flash. The Samsung i80 will be available in April 2008. The price is yet unknown.

Second is i100 new 10.2 megapixel compact digital camera with 3 inch LCD screen and 3x optical zoom. It is equipped wiht all important features as i80 and it has more. It features an in-built ‘World Tour Guide’ function which provides instant access to travel information covering 30 countries and Dual Image Stabilization technology (OIS, DIS). So you will always know where are you and you’ll be able to take a picture of yours friend in a low-light or shaky conditions. You can expect i100 in May 2008.

The high-performance, stylishly designed S1060 is third in the line. It features, 5x optical zoom, 5x digital zoom and ISO1600 and a 2.7in LCD screen and the Samsung Digital Image Stabilization system and Face Detection and Movie Recording etc. The price and availability are yet unknown.

Sony Ericsson T270:

Sony Ericsson introduced four new handsets. Sony Ericsson T270 comes in bar phone-factor and is equipped with a 1.7″ 65K TFT display with a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels.
Ohter features: 10MB internal memory, Java support, Bluetooth connectivity, FM radio with RDS, dimension of 100 x 45 x 13 mm and weigh the mere 82 grams.
What is missing: no built-in camera, no card slot. The T270 will be available in two color versions – Silver on Black and Copper on Silver.
