Apple new iMac

Apple is updating the iMac line with Intel’s latest processors, faster graphics and speedy 802.11 ac WiFi capabilities. The new iMac features 2.7GHz quad-core Intel i5 processor (in the baseline 21.5-inch model) paired with Iris Pro graphics. The high-end 21.5-inch iMac and 27-inch models both include 3.4GHz processor and NVIDIA GeForce 700 series graphics. There is also available upgrade to Core i7 chips and GeForce GTX 780M graphics in the 27-incher. New models can deliver speed up to 1.3 Gigabits per second if you’re connected to an 802.11 ac capable base station. The new iMac is already available with Mountain Lion and pricing starts at $1,300. Porsche Macan and Macan Turbo

Porsche will probably unveil its new model Macan in November at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show. This model will be a smaller alternative to the very successful Porsche Cayenne. The slightly different will be the engine lineup, as Porsche will focus on making the Macan efficient rather than powerful and fast. Macan will have a 4-cylinder engine with 220hp for the base, while Turbo  version will get a twin-turbo 3.0-liter, V-6 rated at 370hp. Continue reading »

Samsung will release the new Galaxy Note 10.1 on the October 10th to buyers in the US. This will be the WiFi-only model and few outlets will start offering pre-orders tomorrow at midnight. It will be available in jet black and classic white, with the 16GB unit retailing for $550 and 32GB going for $600. You will also get three months of Hulu Plus, a year subscription to Boingo hotspots, 50GB extra Dropbox storage, 12-week subscription to the New York Times and full year of Bloomberg Businessweek. The new 7-Series model has a prominent grille, an upward sweeping beltline and a dual exhaust system. This model is expected to ride on a lightweight platform that uses aluminium, carbon fiber and steel. Reports are indicationg that the model could have a 260 bhp (194 KW) 4-cylinder, 340 bhp (254 KW) 6-cylinder and 460 bhp (343 KW) V8. We can probably expect a new M770I xDrive with a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 that has approx. 475 bhp (354 KW) and 480 lb-ft (650 Nm) of torque.
