Russian tuning company TopCar has modified Mercedes-Benz G65 AMG with a Mansory body. Mansory bodykit features carbon front spoiler and redesigned air intakes together with a special front grille and vented hood. Texas Armoring has made Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 bulletproof. This G63 is bulletproof also for rounds in AK-47, M16 or other military-derived guns. It also stops 7.6×63-millimeter (known as .30-06 Springfield) bullet in its tracks. The armored bits have made this G63 6×6 tip the scales at over five tons total. A top Mercedes-Benz executive Thomas Weber has confirmed that Mercedes-Benz planning to introduce a convertible version of its new S-Class flagship and the convertible model has already been cleared for production. S-Class convertible will be based on the S-class coupe that debuted in concept form at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. It will probably be powered vy a range of turbocharged V8 and V12 engines. High-performance AMG versions are also a distinct possibility. S-Class coupe will hit the market in 2015 and slot between the SL and SLS withing the Mercedes-Benz roadster lineup. Continue reading »
