2014 Cadillac ELR was revealed at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show and it will come on the market in January 2014. It is powered by 1.4-liter range-extending gasoline engine, electric motor and T-shaped 16.5-kW lithium-ion battery pack. Cadillac ELR has 207hp, 295 pound-feet of torque, regenerative braking system controlled by paddle shifters and 4 driving modes (Tour, Sport, Mountain and Hold). But you can also buy optional features such as Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Alert ans Safety Alert Seat. Cadillac ELR will start at $80,000 including destination and that is ca. $15,000 higher than had been expected.
