Henri Lamiraux

Apple’s top iOS Engineering Vice President Henri Lamiraux retired a few weeks ago after working 23 years for Apple. Lamiraux was in charge of developing the apps that come with iOS, led feature-implementation across the OS, managed bug-fixing processes and feature distribution to consumers. He is well-respected withing Apple, started his career in the form of Mac software engineer and worked his way to the top. Lamiraux was well-kown to App Store developers, because he frequently appeared in developer sessions and video at WWDC conferences. After his retirement, Apple is moving forward with the future of iOS under the guide of Jony Ive and engineering prowess of Craig Federighi.
