iPhone 5S feature a new 64-bit A7 chip and an M7 coprocessor, meanwhile 5C iPhone is almost internally identical to the iPhone 5. Developers checked apps for compatibility with iOS7 during few months of beta testing, but the new hardware wasn’t available ahead of time. Apps on iPhone 5S crash ca. 2% and ca. 1% iPhone 5C. Apple is aware of these issues but it’s not uncommon to see high crash ratios when new devices or OS come out.
