Chinese couple sold their babygirl for $8,200 so they could make online shopping spree. Couple was advertising the availability of baby earlier in the summer and they even lied about the pregnancy, calling the baby bump a tumor. Couple is saying that they wanted the best for their babygirl and didn’t want to make a profit. But the prosecutors called the whole thing a sinister conspiracy because average annual income in Chine is closer to $820 and they got $8,200 for their baby. After handing the baby over and recieving the money, they immediately went on online shopping spree and bought a new iPhone among other things. They are now facing charges.
