New records on Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday

According to Adobe Digital Index 2013 online shopping data Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday saw record online sales with $1.06 billion and $1.93 billion. This is up 18% year-over-year and over 30% year-over-year. iOS devices drove more than $543 million, while Android devices drove only $148 million. 24.2% of online sales occurred on tablets and smartphones. Adobe’s data is analysis of almost 400 million visits to more than  2000 US retailers’ websites. Adobe is also projecting that Cyber Monday will be the largest online shopping day ever.
