Sony continuous in vanguard of the high resolution videocameras with its new Sony PMW-EX1, a camera inline of XDCAM from Sony that records and stores content on ExpresCard (card of high speed).The PMW-EX1 uses for recording new memory developed by Sony, the SXS PRO, memory that allows rates of data transfer up to 800Mbps and which we have available thanks too slots that camera provides to us. With this memory we can record up to 100 minutes of high resolution (35Mbps) or 140 minutes (25Mbps) in only two SxS cards of 16GB.

New sensors allows us to reach the resolution of 1920 xs 1080 and F10 sensitivity. But in spite of offering that resolution, we will be able to choose between 1080p, 1080i and 720p, all with several options of frames like for example 59.94i, 50i, 29.97p, 25p and 23.98p.Some other characteristics of Sony PMW-EX1 is screen LCD of 3,5 inches, way “Slow and Quick Motion”, recording at intervals, angle of the lens of 5.8mm, Fujinon zoom lens of 14x and compatibility with most of the edition software of professional video. The PMW-EX1 will be available in November and price of a approximately 8,000$ or 5.700€.
