BMW turns 100 in 2016 and it will probably launch a hardcore coupe version of the upcoming M4 sports car, similar to 2009’s M3 GTS model. This hardcore coupe will feature 430hp, 369 pound-feed of torque, turbocharged straight-six engine and weigh less than 3,300 pounds. It will come with either a six-speed manual or seven-speed dual-clutch box. M4’s cabin will be stripped of most luxury amenities, only a pair of racing bucket seats, possibly a roll cage, carbon fiber and Alcantara trim. BMW revealed today that it will debut the next-generation M3 sedan and its nameplate-debuting M4 coupe at the same time. Previous versions of the M3 lineup (this lineup typically include coupe, sedan and convertible variants) have all debuted separately. M3 sedan and M4 coupe will weigh ca. 3,300 lbs and have approx. 430hp and 369 lb-ft. of torque from their twin-turbocharged, 3.0-liter straight six-cylinder engines. BMW will debut model M4 at the 2014 North American International Auto Show.  It will be 416bhp coupe and it will have 2bhp more compared to the previous v8.  M4 will be using a 3.0 –litre, twin-turbocharged straight-six and it will only took you 4.5 seconds to reach 62mph. Continue reading »
