Tesla CEO Elon Musk has a new project. He wants to convert the Lotus from James Bond film (The Spy Who Loved Me) into a functioning submarine. Musk bought the Lotus from $989,000, because he was so thrilled as a child when he watched James Bond’s scene involving Lotus Esprit transforming into a submarine underwater. We don’t have many details yet, but this project will involve Tesla drivetrain.
