German's AA falsifies »car of the year« results

ADAC’s (German’s AA) communications chief executive, Michael Ramstetter, had for year falsified voting results in »Golden Angel«, which chooses Germany’s favorite car of the year. Ramstetter has falsified over 30,000 votes for this year’s Golden Angel reward, when Volkswagen Gold won 34,000 votes instead of actual 3,400 votes. He ha also admitted to falsifying ADAC »car of the year« figures in 2012 and 2013. Currently, there is an investigation in ADAC regarding this scandal and even German’s transport Minister Alexander Dobrindt appealed to ADAC to come clean. Ramstetter has resigned from all positions he held at ADAC.
