Acer has officially announced their new Aspire One notebook. This new 8.9-inch, 1024 x 600 pixel laptop is powered by Intel’s Atom processor and runs XP or Linux.
It will include up to 1GB of RAM, 802.11b/g WiFi, choice of 8GB of flash storage or 80GB hard drive, SD card slot to expand storage and webcam. Battery included is
3-cell, 2200mAh but there is optional 6-cell battery.

CNET’s done the first review of this 27 incher that will first appear in Australia for $1200 AU ( thats about $1150 US). With resolution 1920 x 1200, fonts on our OS should be quite clearer and easier to see compared to say a 24 incher.
The 2709WFP has for input two DVI ports, DisplayPort, HDMI and three 3.5mm audio jacks which passthrough HDMI. The 2709WFP has touch sensitive buttons, five of them to be exactly appearing when we need (touch) them. Continue reading »

Fujitsu revealed today more detailed specs for it’s new U810 and T2010 tablet PCs that were announced earlier this year. The big news is inclusion of a built in HSDPA modem which will cost you an extra $200.
The U810 is powered by Intel A110 processor (800MHz), and has a 5.6-inch touch-screen LCD, 40GB HDD, Bluetooth, SD card slots, Ethernet, a VGA out and battery autonomy for 5.5.hrs claimed by Fujitsu.
T2010 has Intel Core 2 Duo 7600 processor with ultra low voltage improving battery autonomy which lasts up to 10 hours, and 12.1-inch LED display. Both of the tablets have a choice of Vista or XP Tablet Edition. The base price for U810 is $999 and $1,499 for T2010. Continue reading »

Fujitsu unveiled this morning the new all-in-one PC, F-A50. It features 16-inch display running at 1366 x 768 (16:9) and it’s powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo CPU T8100 (2.1GHz).
It has an integrated graphics card Intel GM965 (X3100 chipset), 2GB of RAM (max is 4GB), 250GB SATA hard drive, Wifi B/G, Bluetooth and PC card slot for expansion. This silent pc ( 30dB according to Fujitsu ) will cost around $1,300 and it goes on sale in Japan on May 17th. Continue reading »
