Uganda's MPs get iPads

All Uganda’s MPs have received iPads to make them more efficient. For those iPads has Uganda’s parliament paid approx. $370,000 and is now facing a lot of criticism. According to parliamentary commissioner Emmanuel Dombo they got the funds by reducing budget for paper but opposition is claiming that taxpayers are already paying too much for their MPs. In 2012, MPs increased their own salaries by 38% (which is currently more than $8,000 per month)
